COMMUNICATION PARENTS SHOULD EXPECT FROM US

  1. Expectations the coach has for your child as part of the team
  2. Locations and times of practices and contests
  3. Team requirements (equipment needed, team rules, expectations, etc.)

COMMUNICATION COACHES EXPECT FROM PARENTS

  1. Concerns about your daughter, expressed at the appropriate time and place
  2. Notification of any schedule conflicts well in advance
  3. Extenuating circumstances

APPROPRIATE CONCERNS TO DISCUSS WITH A COACH

  1. The mental and physical treatment of your child
  2. What your daughter needs to do to improve
  3. Concerns about your daughter’s behavior

ISSUES NOT APPROPRIATE FOR DISCUSSION WITH YOUR DAUGHTER’S COACH

  1. Playing time
  2. Team strategy and/or play calling
  3. Any situation that deals with other student athletes
